IHP's Departments

IHP’s departments represent the institute’s fundamental areas of competence.

The competencies of the four departments System Design, Circuit Design, Technology and Materials Research are harmonized with each other to build a complete value chain for the development of prototypes for wireless systems.

Additionally, all departments deliver specific solutions for external partners. Examples of this are analog key circuits as a seed for new business segments,  the MPW & Prototyping with IHP’s technologies as an external offer and feasibility studies to examine new materials.

There is ongoing intense discussion and information exchange between the IHP’s departments concerning strategic issues as well as detailed requirements and feedback.
