IHP presented 60 GHz SiGe-BiCMOS Radio for OFDM
       Transmission at ISCAS 2007

IHP researchers have presented a silicon-based 60 GHz transceiver at the IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS’07) in New Orleans (http://www.iscas2007.org). ISCAS is the world's premier networking forum of leading researchers in the highly active fields of theory, design and implementation of circuits and systems. The invited talk was presented by Dr. Eckhard Grass on May 29 in a special session devoted to Silicon-Enabled Millimeter-Wave Circuits & Systems. The presented 60 GHz chips have been manufactured in IHP’s silicon-germanium BiCMOS technology, which is especially suited for wireless communication at high data rates. Other presentations in this very well attended session were given by W.M. Huang (Freescale), S.P. Voinigescu (University of Toronto), H. Kim (MIT), and B. Razavi (UCLA).
