The IHP invites applications for a
position in MEMS process module development

The Leibniz Institute IHP performs research and development primarily in the area of wireless communications, including SiGe-based technologies, diagnostics, and materials research. The institute is working in a multidisciplinary environment, spanning materials, process technology, circuits, and systems. The IHP is housed in a state-of-the-art building 55 minutes from Berlin, with ultra-modern facilities. The institute’s innovations are in worldwide demand.
The research is focused on MEMS process module Development. The main tasks will be in the development and integration of RF-MEMS process modules based on IHP BiCMOS technologies. A PhD degree can be pursued and will be encouraged.
The successful candidate has a master’s degree or a diploma in Electrical Engineering or Physics. Experience in semiconductor technology and in one or more of the following fields would be an advantage: FEM simulation/modeling, silicon IC technology, electrical characterization, RF integrated circuit design. The candidate is expected to be highly motivated with very good experimental and theoretical skills. Good oral and written skills in German and English are mandatory.
