The IHP consists of approximately 230 research staff, primarily in the area of wireless communications, including SiGe-based technologies, diagnostics, and materials research. We are working in a multidisciplinary environment, spanning materials, process technology, circuits, and systems. The IHP is housed in a state-of-the-art building 55 minutes from Berlin, with ultra-modern facilities. Our innovations are in worldwide demand.
For research projects in the area of 60 GHz – 250 GHz wireless IC design, 10 – 100 Gb/s fiber-optic IC design, UWB frontend design we are seeking candidates with a Diploma, Master or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications with background in IC design and/or high-frequency circuit design. Research work is focused on RFIC, MMIC, and mixed-AD design with leading edge SiGe BiCMOS technologies.
The candidates will have the opportunity to take part in German and international research projects on cutting-edge research topics. We offer work in the inspiring atmosphere of a multi-national team with support from experienced colleagues. A PhD degree can be pursued and will be encouraged. Our facilities involve top-level design tools (Cadence / ADS / Special EDA software), excellent laboratory equipment, and our in-house SiGe BiCMOS pilot line.
The positions will be filled as quickly as possible. Salary will be paid according to the TV-L scale.
