"e-Health - Digital hospital: the dawn of a new age"

Increased efficiency, cost pressure, staff shortages, data security - the health care system is facing the challenges of demographic change like hardly any other service sector. In order to meet these requirements, more and more hospitals are relying on the possibilities of digitization.

The use of new digital technologies can significantly improve processes in clinics and health care facilities as well as care in rural regions.

Internet of things platforms with the connection of tracking or localization technologies, with digital process control and sensor elements hold great potential for optimization for clinics and supply centers.

In various lectures and discussion groups, which will also be broadcast live for the first time, current research work on future-oriented technologies, circuits and systems such as body networks, mobile diagnostic platforms and highly integrated sensor systems will be presented as part of the 10th Brandenburg Sensor Network Day, as well as the challenges of using medical technology applications in practice pointed out and discussed.

The event is supported by: with the WFBB, the IHK Ostbrandenburg, the ICOB and the city of Frankfurt (Oder).

The building and the infrastructure of the IHP were funded by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union, funds of the Federal Government and also funds of the Federal State of Brandenburg.
