Young Talent Award 2021: Submit your bachelor’s, master’s or diploma thesis now

Applications until 31st of July to the association “Friends of IHP e.V.”

Apply now! Outstanding bachelor’s, master’s or diploma theses have a chance to be awarded with de Germany-wide Young Talent Award of the “Friends of IHP”. We are looking for theses that thematically fit the research areas of the IHP - Leibniz Institute for High Performance Microelectronics. These are materials research, semiconductor technologies, circuit design, wireless systems and system architectures. The prizes are endowed with a total of 2.400 euros. The “Friends of IHP” has been receiving support from Deutsche Bank since 2008, which donates the 1st prize in the amount of 500 euros. The annual Young Talent Award supports talented students and encourages them to continue their academic careers.

 

Students can send their theses and their evaluations/reviews by e-mail to nachwuchspreis@ihp-microelectronics.com by 31st of July 2021. Admitted are theses that have an outstanding scientific and technical level and have been submitted since the summer semester 2019. The association’s board decides on the awarding of prizes based on the recommendation of a jury made up scientists from the IHP. There is no right of appeal.

 

The award ceremony is expected to take place online at the end of September 2021.
