Reliability for highly sensible long living complex distributed Applications

The objective of the DIAMANT project is the development of a cross-platform for sensor nodes that allows for a fast, easy and simple implementation of applications and protocols independently of the underlying hardware- and operating system configuration of the sensor node. By using this cross-platform, new methods for improving the energy efficiency, reliability, and maintenance of sensor networks are explored in the context of telemedicine and telematics applications.

This project receives funding by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in the funding program "InnoProfile Transfer" with funding number 03IPT601X.
