Abstract: This paper deals with the redesign of a 60-GHz OFDM baseband demonstrator developed at IHP. The physical layer supports data rates up to 3 GBit/s. Advanced coding schemes are examined for high coding gain. System performance is investigated for a 60-GHz channel model as defined by the IEEE taskgroup 802.15.3c.
