IHP is doing research and development in the area of microelectronics and information technology.

Core competences are in materials research, semiconductor technology, circuit design and system development . We provide solutions from materials up to prototypes. Our own pilot line is equipped for 0.25 µm (0.13 µm) SiGe BiCMOS technologies. This pilot line forms the central basis of the research work at IHP but is also used by third parties through MPW & prototyping services.

IHP with its long-term experience in silicon microelectronics cooperates in many national and international projects with Universities, research institutions and with industry.
