IT spe­cial­ist

The IHP pro­vides train­ing for the pro­fes­sions "IT spe­cial­ist for ap­pli­ca­tion de­vel­op­ment" and "IT spe­cial­ist for sys­tem in­te­gra­tion". As a trainee in one of these pro­fes­sions you will con­tribute to our em­ploy­ees being able to rely on trouble-​free IT processes.

For both pro­fes­sions the length of train­ing is 3 years. but can be re­duced to 2½ years with ex­cel­lent per­for­mance. Vo­ca­tional school ed­u­ca­tion will take place uti­liz­ing sand­wich courses at the Ober­stufen­zen­trum 1 Spree-​Neiße in Forst.  

IT spe­cial­ist for ap­pli­ca­tion de­vel­op­ment (m/f/d)

Ap­pli­ca­tion de­vel­op­ment is for peo­ple who like to in­vent things. You would like to mas­ter pro­gram­ming lan­guage and even de­velop your own apps? Then you are the per­son we are look­ing for!

The field of re­spon­si­bil­ity for an IT spe­cial­ist for ap­pli­ca­tion de­vel­op­ment com­prises the de­vel­op­ment and pro­gram­ming of customer-​specific soft­ware. To ac­com­plish this you start by an­a­lyz­ing de­mand and then de­velop new ap­pro­pri­ate so­lu­tions or mod­ify al­ready ex­ist­ing IT tools. IT spe­cial­ists for ap­pli­ca­tion de­vel­op­ment have the abil­ity to con­vey com­plex is­sues and ad­vise and train the soft­ware users.

The suc­cess­ful can­di­date will have the gen­eral qual­i­fi­ca­tion for uni­ver­sity en­trance or of a spe­cial­ized sec­ondary school with the el­i­gi­bil­ity to visit the se­nior classes of a sec­ondary school and will also have good marks in the sub­jects math­e­mat­ics, Eng­lish and per­haps com­puter sci­ence. Fur­ther pre­req­ui­sites are to take plea­sure in log­i­cal an­a­lyt­i­cal think­ing, basic pro­gram­ming knowl­edge and team spirit. Per­se­ver­ance and dili­gence are nec­es­sary when, e.g. soft­ware trouble-​shooting is re­quired.

IT spe­cial­ist for sys­tem in­te­gra­tion (m/f/d)

The IT spe­cial­ist for sys­tem in­te­gra­tion is a pro­fes­sion for per­fec­tion­ists. You enjoy work­ing in a pre­cise and highly con­cen­trated man­ner? You are the first per­son friends and fam­ily con­tact with their com­puter and soft­ware prob­lems? Then you are the per­son we are look­ing for!

The field of re­spon­si­bil­ity for an IT spe­cial­ist for sys­tem in­te­gra­tion com­prises the plan­ning and con­fig­u­ra­tion of IT sys­tems. This in­volves the in­stal­la­tion and setup of hard­ware com­po­nents, op­er­at­ing sys­tems and net­works ac­cord­ing to cus­tomer de­mands. IT spe­cial­ists for sys­tem in­te­gra­tion use mod­ern di­ag­nos­tic tools to elim­i­nate mal­func­tion and as­sist users in find­ing so­lu­tions for ap­pli­ca­tion prob­lems.
