20 Jahre Joint Lab IHP/TH Wildau

Seit seiner Gründung am 20. Februar 2006 steht das Joint Lab des IHP und der Technischen Hochschule Wildau für die enge Verbindung von exzellenter Forschung und praxisnaher Ausbildung. In den vergangenen zwei Jahrzehnten sind aus dieser Zusammenarbeit zahlreiche Forschungsprojekte, Abschlüsse und Ausgründungen hervorgegangen – ein sichtbarer Beleg für die erfolgreiche Partnerschaft beider Einrichtungen.
Die Veranstaltung am 1. Juli zeigt, wie in Frankfurt (Oder) Technologien entstehen, die Kommunikationsinfrastrukturen, Sensorik und Quantensysteme weltweit prägen, und gibt zugleich einen Ausblick auf die Entwicklungen von morgen. Demonstratoren aus zwei Jahrzehnten gemeinsamer Forschung, Gespräche mit den Menschen hinter den Innovationen und Einblicke in zukünftige Forschungsfelder machen erlebbar, wie das Joint Lab die nächste Generation von Expertinnen und Experten ausbildet und zur technologischen Souveränität in der Chip-Herstellung beiträgt.

AGBs

§ 1 Scope of application 
These General Terms and Conditions regulate the contractual relationship between the participant of congresses and conferences (hereinafter: event) and IHP GmbH headquartered at Im Technologiepark 25, D 15236 Frankfurt (Oder), represented by the managing directors Prof. Dr. Gerhard Kahmen and Nicolas Hübener (hereinafter: IHP) as the event organizer. Deviating general terms and conditions of the participant do not apply.
 
§ 2 Registration 
The registration for participation at the event is performed online using the registration tool. The participant will receive a confirmation of participation that will contain the information provided by the participant in the course of the online registration. Errors made in the process can be indicated to IHP at any time via the e-mail-address events@ihp-microelectronics.com.

§ 3 Liability 
(1)    IHP is liable only in cases of malicious intent or gross negligence on the part of IHP or its agents; this does not apply for damages resulting in death, bodily harm of health. 
(2)    In cases of minor negligence IHP is only liable for the violation of an obligation essential to the achievement of the contractual purpose (cardinal obligation). In such cases, liability is limited to the standard, contractual, foreseeable damages and the sum of the participant’s fees. 
(3)    IHP is not liable for the loss of objects brought to the events or for damages incurred when travelling to or from the venues. 

§ 4 Copyrights, images 
(1)    The documents are protected by copyright. The documents may only be used by the participant personally and may only be copied, published or forwarded to third parties, in whole or parts, with the prior written consent of IHP.
(2)    Recording of the event, e.g. audio or video, is to be clarified in advance.  
(3)    IHP is authorized to produce commercial images or video recordings of, at and in connection with the event, or to have such done and to use these, in particular, for marketing purposes. In recordings in which the participant has a right to their own image, the participant provides IHP with the right to use the image without restrictions to time or space and at no cost. 

§ 5 Data protection 
IHP will use the personal data provided within the framework of the registration only for purposes of performing the event. In this context it may be necessary to provide this data to third parties. In particular in connection with the registration and invoicing of the participation fees. Furthermore, the personal data may be stored and used for the purpose of sending information about other similar events that may be of interest for the participant. This consent may be withdrawn at any time; the withdrawal of consent is to be made via Mail to events@ihp-microelectronics.com. 

§ 6 Final provisions 
(1)    Ancillary agreements must be made in writing to be effective. This also applies for the altering of the requirement to make agreements in writing.
(2)    Should a provision of these General Terms and Conditions be ineffective or become ineffective, this will not affect the effectiveness of the remaining provisions. A regulation corresponding to, appropriate for and permissible in terms of and for the purpose of the General Terms and Conditions will replace the ineffective provision. 
(3)    German law will apply with the exclusion of the UN Commercial Law. To the extent permissible by law, the jurisdiction is agreed to be Frankfurt an der Oder.
