Due to the current developments regarding the Corona virus and the associated preventive measures, the IHP has been temporarily in an emergency mode since Monday 16th of March 2020. The institute takes the current situation very seriously and fully fulfills it’s obligations towards it’s employees and society. The safety and health of the more than 350 employees have top priority.
"We decided that in order to protect all employees of the institute, we would reduce the presence at the institute’s location to those colleagues who are absoltely necessary to ensure minimal operation of the sensitive technical infrastructure," said the management of the institute. All guidelines recommended by the authorities for the interruption of infection chains are implemented. Access to the institute building is currently only possible to a limited extent for outside parties and the cafeteria is closed. In addition, the majority of the workforce has been working in the home office since 16th of March to help contain the virus.
