Training at the IHP with a seal of quality

Vanessa Kätel (trainee at IHP) with Elise Funke

Our trainee Vanessa Kätel was honored by the IHK Ostbrandenburg on yesterday for her outstanding achievements. Ms. Kätel is one of the best 25 trainees in the state of Brandenburg this year. She completed a three-year apprenticeship as a clerk for office management at the Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics (IHP) and graduated with the rating “very good”.

Due to the current Corona measures, the ceremonial best honoring of the apprentices in East Brandenburg planned for November 5, 2020 was canceled, but Mr. Michael Völker, division manager for training and further education of the IHK Ost-Brandenburg, did not miss the opportunity to come to the IHP personally to talk to Vanessa Congratulations to Kätel. In the smallest group, the award was presented together with the trainer for the administrative training professions of the IHP, Ms. Grit Grund and Ms. Kätel's training officer, Ms. Ramona Doktorowski. The IHP itself was also able to receive an award as an excellent training company from the IHK Ostbrandenburg.

Stephan Wagner, head of the administrative services department at the IHP, praised Ms. Kätel's great commitment, hard work and thirst for knowledge during the three years of her training at the handover of the certificate. Those responsible for training at IHP recognized Ms. Kätel's abilities at an early stage, encouraged them and quickly gave her tasks of responsibility.
