After the daily talks, the discussion will continue until late in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

Terms and Conditions

§ 1 Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions regulate the contractual relationship between the participant of congresses and conferences (hereinafter: event) and the IHP GmbH headquartered at Im Technologiepark 25, D 15236 Frankfurt (Oder), represented by the managing directors Prof. Dr. Gerhard Kahmen and Nicolas Hübener (hereinafter: IHP) as the event organizer. Deviating general terms and conditions of the participant do not apply.

§ 2 Registration
The registration for participation at the event is performed online using the registration tool. The participant will receive a confirmation of participation that will contain the information provided by the participant in the course of the online registration. Errors made in the process can be indicated to IHP at any time via the e-mail-address events@ihp-microelectronics.com.

§ 3 Remuneration
(1)    The participation fee can be found on the registration form. The sum stated there includes the participation in the IHP event (if applicable, including documentation, refreshments, etc.). The sum includes any statutory value added tax incurred. The price does not include the participant’s travel costs, accommodations or expenses.
(2)    The payment is to be made by bank transfer or credit card. Payment with cash or checks is not possible.
(3)    IHP will send the participant an invoice for remuneration upon confirming the participation. The participation is confirmed and the contract is concluded after delivery of the invoice. The costs are due within 7 days after receipt of the invoice.
(4)    Should the participant be in arrears with the payment, IHP is authorized to demand interest on arrears of 5% p.a. above the basic interest rate (Art. 247 Sec. 1 BGB – German Civil Code). Should IHP prove damages incurred over and above this sum, IHP may assert these. Similarly, the participant is authorized to show that no damages were incurred or that these were substantially lower than asserted by IHP.

§ 4 Performance of the event; changes
(1)    IHP is, subject to the following regulations, obligated to perform the event booked at the time, venue and with the personnel announced previously.
(2)    IHP is permitted to relocate or reschedule the event, to have other speakers than those announced or to change the program. In case of a complete or partial relocation or curtailment of the event, the contract is considered to be concluded for the changed period should the participant fail to object within two weeks of the announcement. The price arranged will not be reduced.
(3)    Should it not be possible to perform the event due to a force majeure or for due cause (e.g. illness of the speaker or too few participants), IHP may cancel the event and terminate the agreement. The participant will be informed of such immediately. In such a case the fees will be refunded. The participant has no claim to compensation for travel costs and accommodations or lost working time, unless such costs result from malicious intent or gross negligence on the part of IHP. Further claims on the part of the participant are excluded.

§ 5 Withdrawal; Substitute Participant
(1)    A cancellation of the conference registration is possible before the beginning of the event. The following terms and conditions apply to cancellations:
a    Cancellation free of charge is possible until the 18th of June 2025.
b    If the registration is cancelled at a later date, the entire participation fee will be due.
(2)    IHP will be happy to accept a substitute participant without additional costs after prior notification.
(3)    Cancellation must be made in writing via E-mail to events@ihp-microelectronics.com.
The receipt of the cancellation at the IHP counts for the adherence to the deadlines stated above.
(4)    Reimbursement of contributions is only possible via bank transfer.
(5)    No donation receipts are issued by IHP.

§ 6 Liability

(2)    In cases of minor negligence IHP is only liable for the violation of an obligation essential to the achievement of the contractual purpose (cardinal obligation). In such cases, liability is limited to the standard, contractual, foreseeable damages and the sum of the participant’s fees.
(3)    IHP is not liable for the loss of objects brought to the events or for damages incurred when travelling to or from the venues.

§ 7 Copyrights, images
(1)    The documents are protected by copyright. The documents may only be used by the participant personally and may only be copied, published or forwarded to third parties, in whole or parts, with the prior written consent of the IHP.
(2)    Recording of the event, e.g. audio or video, is to be clarified in advance.
(3)    IHP and the Free Silicon Foundation are authorized to produce commercial images or video recordings of, at and in connection with the event, or to have such done and to use these, in particular, for marketing purposes. In recordings in which the participant has a right to their own image, the participant provides IHP and Free Silicon Foundation with the right to use the image without restrictions to time or space and at no cost.

§ 8 Data protection
IHP will use the personal data provided within the framework of the registration only for purposes of performing the event. In this context it may be necessary to provide this data to third parties. In particular in connection with the registration and invoicing of the participation fees. This consent may be withdrawn at any time; the withdrawal of consent is to be made via Mail to events@ihp-microelectronics.com.

§ 9 Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
