SiGe-BiCMOS & EPIC Technology

The development of advanced generations of SiGe heterojunction bipolar transistors (SiGe HBT) and their integration into complex BiCMOS technologies for high-frequency applications for use in wireless and broadband communications is the central topic of IHP technology research. This is complemented by research and development of electro-photonic integrated circuit (EPIC) technologies. All developments have the common goal to provide efficient and compact technologies based on monolithic integration and to make them available to our partners within IHP's MPW service offering.
