Open-6G
This is one of 4 6G Hubs in Germany. The purpose of these 6G Hubs is to make suggestions and prepare for the upcoming 6G Standard.
The open 6G Hub focuses on highly adaptive dynamic networks in a non-cellular structure ("beyond cellular"). Those networks are self-aware, enabled by a number of sensors ("network as a sensor") self-healing and resilient and secure by design.
Funding
The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
