IHP a strong player at ISTDM/ICSI conference

With six papers, one invited presentation and one poster, IHP researchers participated in the 3rd joint ISTDM/ICSI conference in Como, Italy, held May 22-25, 2023. IHP's contributions included topics on Group IV epitaxy for optoelectronic, thermoelectric, photonic, plasmonic devices, as well as quantum applications. IHP's reputation was also emphasized by Prof. Giovanni Capellini, who was a member of the organizing committee, as well as Dr. Yuji Yamamoto as member of the International Advisory Committee. Congratulations to student Diana Ryzhak (IHP), who won "The best student's poster award" for her poster entitled: Growth and Optical Characterization of SiGe QDs on Si Nano-tips!

For years, ISTDM and ICSI have been among the most impactful meetings attracting students, scientists and engineers from academia and industry interested in semiconductor science and technology. These biennial meetings have been combined for the first time in 2018 to offer a unique platform to discuss cutting-edge research and advances in materials science and technology, with a particular focus on Group IV semiconductors.
