The IHP cel­e­brates its 40th an­niver­sary this year.

Since its foun­da­tion in 1983, the IHP has been set­ting world­wide stan­dards in the field of mi­cro­elec­tron­ics, from silicon-​based sys­tems, ultrahigh-​frequency cir­cuits and tech­nolo­gies to new ma­te­ri­als. IHP makes its re­search re­sults avail­able to part­ners from sci­ence and in­dus­try in re­search co­op­er­a­tions. In ad­di­tion, IHP con­tributes to the tech­no­log­i­cal sov­er­eignty of Ger­many and Eu­rope with the pro­duc­tion of pro­to­type so­lu­tions and small se­ries. At the same time, we make an im­por­tant con­tri­bu­tion to the train­ing of young sci­en­tists and en­gi­neers at all lev­els of ed­u­ca­tion.

The cel­e­bra­tory event will be held on No­vem­ber 30th, 2023.
