The ELICSIR project is aimed at significant strengthening of the research and innovation capacity of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, Serbia, in the field of electronic instrumentation for radiation environments, with particular emphasis on two main topics: radiation dosimetry and radiation hardening design. This will be accomplished through establishing the links between University of Nis with three renowned research institutions from the EU having complementary scientific profiles and broad expertise in radiation effects research: Tyndall National Institute, IHP and University of Granada. To accomplish the objectives of the widespread call, the work plan will be based on a set of coherent actions involving: (l) scientific and soft-skill training of young and experienced researchers from University of Nis, (2) establishment of conditions for long-term joint collaboration, (3) organization of networking events (workshops, special sessions at selected conferences, summer schools, symposia), (4) Upgrade of educational programs at University of Nis, (5) dissemination and outreach.
