EMPHASE
Integrated energy saving multi-processor platform for autonomous electrical driving
Objective
- research on reliable, reconfigurable and intelligent E/E-architectures, manufacturing platforms and sensor nodes
- research on the corresponding fault-tolerant data processing part
- reconfigurability of the sensor as well as the corresponding data processing part
- utilization of the same sensors for various tasks (for example near or remote field recognition) or various communication standards (Car2x, WLAN, 4G)
- reduction of energy consumption in electric vehicles
IHP's Contribution
- system specification and architecture of SRS components
- design, implementation and integration of hardware platform
- scalable radar sensor, radar-transceiver and communication module
- integration into the demonstrator
